Due to the combined influence of Typhoon Danas and the monsoon, a widespread heavy rainfall is expected to affect Guangdong starting tomorrow (July 10), bringing relief from the ongoing heatwave.
As of 5:00 p.m. on July 8, the center of Typhoon Danas was located over the sea approximately 70 km southeast of Wenling City, Zhejiang Province. According to the meteorological departments, Danas is expected to move closer to Guangdong, with its remnants forecast to impact many parts of the province starting on July 10.
