Strong thunderstorms and heavy rains are forecast to hit Guangdong from June 13 to 15, according to Guangdong Meteorological Observatory.
On June 13, west Guangdong will see localized torrential rain. Other regions will be cloudy to sunny with scattered strong thunderstorms. The highs are 34℃-36℃ in the eastern coastal areas, and 32℃-36℃ in other places.
On June 14, the Pearl River Delta and the southern coastal areas will experience heavy rain and localized torrential rain. Other regions are to see moderate thunderstorms and scattered torrential rain. The highs are 33℃-35℃ in Heyuan, Meizhou, the eastern Pearl River Delta and east Guangdong, and 28℃～32℃ in the remaining areas.
On June 15, there will be moderate to heavy rain in east Guangdong. Other regions will be cloudy with scattered thundershowers.
