A new mist system has been introduced at Fengzhu Garden within Huizhou West Lake in Guangdong province. Light fog now periodically covers the lotus pond, partially obscuring the pink and white blossoms among their floating green leaves.
Visitors have been observed taking photographs as breezes move the mist across the water. The shifting vapor makes the lotus flowers appear to sway when partially covered.
The mist equipment is still undergoing testing. It is scheduled to become a permanent feature at the garden soon, providing summer viewing opportunities for lotus enthusiasts. Opening dates will be announced officially.
