The renowned Chinese dance drama "The Peacock", created by celebrated artist Yang Liping, is set to grace the stage of the Guangzhou Opera House once again from July 9 to 12. It blends Eastern aesthetics with modern dance, and has toured dozens of countries worldwide since its debut.

The dance drama "Peacock" offers a vivid portrayal of the "peacock," a traditional cultural symbol of Yunnan province, as it evolves over time. Set against the backdrop of the four seasons, the performance captures the cycle of life and the peacock's poetic rebirth.
