Huizhou athlete shines at Asian Para Archery Championships

The 2025 Asian Para Archery Championships recently concluded in Beijing, with Team China finishing at the top of the medal table, taking home 10 golds, 4 silvers, and 3 bronzes. Liang Qiurong, an archer from Huizhou, claimed two medals for China.

Partnering with teammate Gao Zihan, Liang Qiurong won gold in the Women's Recurve Open Team event. She also secured a bronze in the Women's Recurve Open individual final after a strong victory over an Indonesian competitor.

The Asian Para Archery Championships is Asia's premier competition for para-archers. This year's event brought together 94 athletes from 13 countries and regions, competing in a variety of categories.

Looking ahead, Liang will represent Team Guangdong in the upcoming 2025 National Para Archery Championships. "I hope to perform even better at the National Games and bring more glory to Huizhou and Guangdong," said Liang.
