The Huawei Developer Conference 2025 recently took place in Dongguan's Songshan Lake from June 20 to 22, attracting over ten thousand developers and tech professionals from around the world. This year marked the seventh consecutive time the conference has been hosted by Dongguan since its inaugural event in 2019.
In conjunction with the main conference, the Songshan Lake Developer Carnival 2025 was held from June 19 to 22 under the theme "Infinite Development, Relaxed Songshan Lake." This year's event featured a diverse lineup of activities, including music, dance, food, technology, and trendy products, appealing to a wide audience of developers.
The carnival included various activities, such as developer tours and community gatherings, as well as citywide promotions designed to stimulate consumer spending.
Key venues like the Tonghu Gallery and ULAND Cultural and Arts District showcased a range of attractions, including an auto exhibition, tech displays, food stalls, and local craft sections. Over 40 businesses participated, blending traditional Lingnan cultural elements with the technological focus of Songshan Lake, providing a comprehensive experience for both developers and visitors.
During the carnival, the city launched promotional initiatives, distributing nearly 4 million yuan in vouchers across sectors such as smart devices, dining, and local produce.
By leveraging the momentum from the Huawei Developer Conference and existing developer resources, the Songshan Lake Developer Carnival 2025 successfully created a celebration that highlighted the region's technological and ecological attributes.
