Guangzhou
In Guangzhou, the number of marriage registration appointments on February 22 reached 1,683, the highest in a single day in the past five years, according to the Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau.
In order to cope with the strong demand, marriage registration offices opened half an hour earlier, recruited about 100 volunteers to provide epidemic prevention and service guides.
Shenzhen
In Shenzhen, the continuous low temperature and rainy weather could not abate newlyweds' enthusiasm for marriage.
