100% Doraemon & FRIENDS, one of the world's largest Doraemon exhibitions, arrived in Guangzhou, Guangdong on June 20. Following successful runs in Hong Kong and Shanghai, Guangzhou marks the third stop of the tour in China. As the longest-running stop on the tour, the Guangzhou stop of 100% Doraemon & Friends is being held at Guangzhou K11 Art Mall from June 20 to August 31.
Created by Fujiko F. Fujio in 1969, Doraemon has been a beloved friend to fans around the world for over 50 years. What keeps his world alive — and why has the exhibition come to Guangzhou? GDToday spoke with the people behind it: Jitsuko Katsumata, CEO of Fujiko Pro, and SK Lam, co-organizer of the exhibition and founder of AllRightsReserved (ARR).
