Guangdong province will hold its regional "Village BA" basketball championship from June 24-28, 2025, in Zhongshan's Shaxi and Dayong towns.
The tournament is part of China's national rural basketball initiative, combining sports with cultural activities. Eight qualifying teams from Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Maoming, Qingyuan, and Yunfu will compete. Each team consists of 12 players, one coaching staff, and two team leaders.

Group Stage (June 24-26):
Two groups (A/B) play round-robin matches across two venues:
Shaxi's Longrui Village Court (沙溪镇龙瑞村篮球场)
Dayong's Qinggang Sports Park Court (大涌镇青岗体育公园篮球场)
Knockout Stage (June 27-28):
The top two teams from each group advance to the cross-group semifinals. The finals will take place at Longrui Village Court (沙溪镇龙瑞村篮球场).
The June 20 draw placed 2024 finalists Zhongshan Shaxi (Group A1) and Zhongshan Guzhen (Group B1) as top seeds. Winners will represent Guangdong in national regional tournaments.
