Photos show you why Nian Li is more ceremonious than Spring Festival in Maoming

In Maoming, Nian Li is more ceremonious than Spring Festival, although Spring Festival is the most ceremonious among so many traditional festivals in China. Are you wondering why that is? Take a look at this group of photo to find out.

From the morning of Feb. 10 to the small hours of Feb. 11, Nian Li was celebrated in Zhangfu Village, Gaoshan Town, Maonan District, Maoming.

The temple was rebuilt several years ago. Gods or bodhisattvas that will participate in the parade of worshiping gods during Nian Li are consecrated in this temple. [Photo/Southcn.com]
