The 2nd 21st Century Maritime Silk Road China (Guangdong) International Communication Forum kicked off in Zhuhai on Sept. 19th. Luminaries attended the forum and shared their opinions on Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
第二届“21世纪海上丝绸之路”中国（广东）国际传播论坛9月19日-21日在广东珠海举行，吸引了一大批“大咖”前来参加。

“The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has led the country with innovation in talent, capital, and industry. As the leader of China's scientific, technological innovation and industrial upgrade, it has revealed its potential to become a world-class super-large city group and an international free trade port.
粤港澳大湾区在人才、资本、产业等创新要素聚集的密度上已领先全国，是我国科技创新和产业升级的领导者，初步显露出世界一流超大城市群和国际自由贸易港的雏形。”

“The area and population of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area are relatively large, but the region’s ranking is very low when it comes to percentage or per capita indicators. It shows that the area has great development potential and needs to be further improved.
粤港澳大湾区的面积、人口等绝对值较大，但涉及到百分比或人均指标时排名就很靠后，这说明粤港澳大湾区有很大的发展潜力，发达程度有待进一步提升。”

“The establishment of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Greater Bay Area should make full use of its marine resources to establish a port city alliance; coordinating the development of logistics, shipping, tourism, and commerce. It will help Macao to play an active role in the development of both the Greater Bay Area and the Belt and Road Initiative.
大湾区建设应该充分利用海洋资源，建议组建港口城市联盟，统筹发展物流、航运、旅游、商贸业，为澳门融入粤港澳湾区建设和一带一路建设发挥积极作用。”
