The first snow of the new year hit large parts of central and eastern China Wednesday, and South China’s Guangdong is waiting for its first cold wave of the new year to come. The temperature in Guangzhou would drop gradually from 15°C-20°C on Jan. 4 to 5°C-12°C on Jan. 9 with light rain.
