The 1st China Animation & Comic Art Exhibition will be held at Guangdong Museum in Guangzhou during the middle of December, open to the public for free.
In the meantime, a series of activities titled “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao 24-hour cartoon creation marathon” will also be carried out.

The Exhibition is jointly organized by China Artists Association, Publicity Department of Guangzhou Municipal Government, and Guangzhou Literary and Art Circle.
According to the organizers, the exhibition will focus on original animation and comic works with national style and Chinese manner. All works that are created after the 12th National Exhibition of Fine Arts in 2014 can apply for the exhibition. The exhibits will be displayed via 3D, VR, audio and video, digital media installation, etc.
Guangzhou, City of Flower, is also a city of creativity. Liao Bingxiong, famous Chinese cartoonist, painter and calligrapher, was born and raised in Guangzhou. In recent years, the cultural creative industry represented by animation and comic has been growing rapidly in Guangzhou. Many animation enterprises rise to fame, including Alpha Group, Creative Power Entertaining, and Comic Fans Culture. Renowned works and brands include Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf, GG Bond, Funny School, and so on. Guangzhou has also become the permanent venue of China Animation & Comic Competition Golden Dragon Award, the key competition of China International Cartoon & Animation Festival.

For authors: Authors of top 60 works will be able to join in the China Artists Association for once; authors that participate in the exhibition will get an album of all the selected works; the organizing committee will present a certificate for all the authors that participate in the exhibition.
Some of the requirements:
When submitting artworks, please specify name (from ID card), title, contact info, post code, cell phone no., exhibition title.
All artworks that are created after the 12th National Exhibition of Fine Arts in 2014 (that is after June 27, 2014) can be submitted.

首届全国动漫美术作品展征稿通知
为深入贯彻习近平总书记对文艺工作的系列重要讲话精神，进一步推动动漫艺术的繁荣发展，中国美术家协会、中共广州市委宣传部、广州市文学艺术界联合会联合主办“首届全国动漫美术作品展览”。
活动旨在搭建全国性动漫作品与创作人才的推选与展示平台，引领专业和业余动漫创作者锐意创新，努力突破创作短板，高擎民族精神火炬，吹响时代号角，为产业发展注入动力源，有效促进产业链延伸开发与产业群建立，从而为中国文化走向世界注入全新能量。现将此次展览的有关事宜通知如下：

六、展出规模：本次展览展出入选作品260件。
七、作者待遇：
1、该展评选出的入选作品前60件作品的作者具备申请加入中国美协会员的一次条件。
2、画展将出版画册，每位参展作者均可获赠一本。
3、组委会向参展作者颁发证书。
八、参展要求：
1、初评：参展作者在提供送展作品资料时，须注明：姓名（以身份证为准）、标题、详细联系地址、邮编、联系电话、展览名称。初评结果将及时在中国美术家协会网站公布。复评：初评入围作者按要求邮寄原作参加复评，（送原件时间地点和送件要求另行通知）。注：初评未入围作者不另行通知，资料不退；终评落选作品退件。
2、初评投递作品资料，相同作品资料如反复多次投递，中国美术家协会将视为无效稿件取消参评资格。
3、参展作品一律为作者原创作品，严禁使用高仿、抄袭、复制自己作品参展！否则造成任何法律纠纷或责任，作者自负，并在美协网站进行公告，取消其参展资格。
4、本展览项目每位作者只限一次参展资格（含合作）。
九、初评作品类别及送件要求：
作品征集原则：第十二届全国美展之后（即2014年6月27日截稿之后）创作的动漫作品均可投稿。
（一）漫画作品
1、包含长、中、短篇故事漫画作品及绘本作品；
2、提供10幅打印稿，要求使用A4彩色打印纸打印，标明页数，每页打印稿背面标明作者姓名、作品名称、联系方式；
3、提供JPEG格式电子文件，含合成文字，刻录成DVD光盘；
（二）动画作品
1、提供故事梗概，字数要求200字以内；
2、提供10幅动画美术设计或静帧截图打印稿，要求使用A4彩色打印纸打印，标明页数，每页打印稿背面标明作者姓名、作品名称、联系方式；
3、提供10幅动画美术设计或静帧截图电子文件，要求JPEG格式；
4、提供作品电子文件和片花（3分钟以内），要求MPEG、AVI或MOV格式；
5、动画美术设计或静帧截图、作品和片花刻录成一张DVD光盘；
（三）独幅作品
1、包含漫画封面、插画，人物造型设计和场景设计。
2、提供作品打印稿，要求使用A3彩色打印纸打印，打印稿背面标明作者姓名、作品名称、联系方式；
3、提供JPEG格式电子文件，刻录成DVD光盘；
十、收作品资料时间：自广告发布之日起至2017年10月15日止，以收到地邮戳为准。
