A special troupe from Indonesia and Yingde performed original, unique and dynamic works of Indonesia traditional dances.From today, people in Guangzhou have a great chance to experience the authentic Indonesian Culture and to know more about the Guangdong-Indonesia cultural ties.
The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Guangzhou organized a special event to showcase Indonesian culture and presented the opening ceremony at China Plaza on Friday. The event will continue to Sunday, from 11am to 7pm.
“Indonesia and China have enjoyed a long history of contacts. There are many overseas Chinese in Indonesia and most of them come from Guangdong. Therefore this event can provide a chance for Chinese people to understand Indonesia”, Gustanoto, Consul General of Indonesia told Newsgd.com.
Attendees will be able to savor Indonesian coffee, foods, snacks and delicacy. The event is free and open to the public.
