According to the tourism sector, Xinyi received over 1 million tourists during the Spring Festival holiday, with year-on-year growth of 35.26% and generated tourism revenue of RMB 331 million, with year-on-year growth of 57.4%.
Xinyi, a county-level city in the north of Maoming, enjoys abundant tourism resources, some of the famous tourist spots including Tianma Mountain Ecotourism Resort, Xijiang Hot Spring Vacation Village, Longxuan Gorge and Jiamen Gorge.
