Guangzhou is one of the top three cities in China, as well as the capital of Guangdong Province, and more and more people from overseas are choosing to make the city their home.
According to the latest statistics released by Guangzhou’s Public Security Bureau, as of June 25th, there were 82,101 expats living and working in Guangzhou, an increase of 5.5% on the previous year. South Korea, Japan and the U.S.A are the top three largest communities in the city.
Furthermore, up to June 25th, permanent foreign residents population in Guangzhou reaches 51,416, up 0.8% year-on-year.
