Expats learn intangible cultural heritages at intl tourism expo

The three-day 2018 China(Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo wrapped up in Guangzhou on Sept 9, with 10 exhibition halls showcasing services, products and innovation covering the whole tourism industry chain.

During the expo, Guangzhou Yuexiu district tourism bureau invited people from the tourism industry in the countries along the Belt and Road Initiative to enter Yuexiu, experience ancient Guangzhou city and learn about Guangzhou's intangible cultural heritages.

At Beijing Road, the expats were amazed by Chaozhou embroidery and learnt the time-honored embroidery techniques from inheritors. Besides, they also learnt Chinese calligraphy, Guqin (seven-stringed Chinese zither) and how to make clay sculptures.
