From August 10th to 13th, over 400 policemen from all over the country, will take part in the 24th National Police Practical Pistol Shooting Competition and the qualification competition of the 2nd World Police Service Pistol Shooting Championship 2018 in Guangdong.

Members who attend the 2nd World Police Service Pistol Shooting Championship will be selected during the 3-day competition.
According to Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department, two teams from Guangzhou and Shenzhen will take part in the competition on behalf of Guangdong.

Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department stated that the competition adopts the newly formulated rules for the practical shooting competition with the theme of handling attacking in public places, breaking in rooms for rescue and capture and more.
The competition aims to test the comprehensive abilities and qualities of players in shooting skills, tactical application, on-the-spot response and psychological pressure under simulated real situations, and to constantly improve the practical application of shooting ability and the policing efficiency, so as to better guarantee social stability and people's safety.
