Guangdong’s GDP expanded 7.8 percent year on year in the first half of 2018 to about 4.63 trillion yuan, data from the Statistics Bureau of Guangdong showed recently. It is 0.3 percent higher than the national average.
The added value of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 1.51 trillion RMB, up 6.2 percent year-on-year.
According to the government work report delivered earlier this year, Guangdong aims to keep the GDP growth rate of about 7% in 2018.
