Using VR to view world class artwork here in GZ!

Good news for local art lovers! No need to travel to the Louvre, or other European museums, an exhibition on the theme of Renaissance art using high-end VR technology will be held on Haixinsha Island, Guangzhou.

In this exhibition, artworks such as "The Statue of David", "The Birth of Venus" and "The Last Supper" will be presented through VR-tech to create an immersive exhibition experience for the visitors.

“The Renaissance 2018 Exhibition is a journey through time and space. From Florence, Italy, more than 500 years ago, to Guangzhou, China, in 2018”, Tristan Chan, Chief Marketing Officer of Buona Arte+ Culture & Technology Company, a co-organizer, introduced at the launch ceremony held on May 16th.

The motif is " From Art to Heart". Tristan Chan hopes that the exhibition will give the visitor a chance to explore themselves and enter into a dialogue with art. He also pointed put that the it’s the world’s first new-media art exhibition themed on the Renaissance. Through the combination of technology and art, the spirit of the Renaissance will be brought to life again.

The main technical team behind this art exhibition is the Italian Crossmedia Group, a world leading supplier of advanced MATRIX X-DIMENSION technology and VR viewing systems. It has gained the rights to many world's most famous works of art.

The exhibition is set to open on July 18th on Haixinsha Island, and will be the largest cultural and artistic exhibition on the island to date. More details will be revealed soon, watch this space.
