The 123rd China Import and Export Fair, often called Canton Fair, is less than 5 days away. In preparation, the China Foreign Trade Center and Guangzhou municipal commission of commerce co-hosted a promotion & exchange conference for Canton Fair importation exhibitors and cross-border e-commerce enterprises in Guangzhou on April 9, which introduced the highlights of the import exhibition area and handled the attendance registration for key purchasers on site.
As stated at the conference, the 123rd Canton Fair, set to open in Guangzhou on April 15, will attract more than 600 enterprises from nearly 40 countries and regions, including the ten national-level exhibitor teams from Germany, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Egypt, Turkey, Ukraine, Thailand, India, and Nepal as well as the regional exhibitor teams from Macao and Taiwan.
There are six categories of exhibits, namely electronics & household electrical appliances, building materials, machinery, food & beverage, household supplies, and textiles & garments.
In particular, the third phase (May 1-5) of the fair will display high-end organic daily chemicals from the United States, France, Germany, Korea, Thailand, and other countries.
In response to the Belt and Road Initiative, this year's fair will further expand cooperation with countries involved in the initiative. For example, the fair has added business partners from Ukraine, Nepal, and Thailand. Ukraine's home electronics, Nepal's folk art handicraft works, and Thailand's natural daily chemicals will be put on display for the first time, bringing them plentiful business opportunities.
