The 25th Guangzhou Fair, is held from Aug. 25 to 28. The event sets almost 7,000 booths to showcase products from home and abroad, such as VR, food & beverage, fishery, elderly health, etc.

Guangzhou is developing into an international conference & exhibition center with a variety of brands such as Canton Fair, Guangzhou Fair and so on. The Guangzhou Fair has become an important international exchange platform to showcase the city’s development and boost regional cooperation. It will provide more business opportunities for the attendants of the fair, said Wen Guohui, mayor of Guangzhou on the opening ceremony.

Indeed, business opportunities are believed to be found in the event. Kermit Jacobsen, a Norwegian exhibitor came to the fair for the first time, wanted to promote fishes such as salmon and cod at the fishery & seafood sub-exhibition.
Besides products from nearly 60 cities in China, the expo has a variety of goods from many foreign countries.

For instance, Indian exhibitors brought their special craft works at the international exhibition hall. The salesman said they came to display those crafts not only for selling but also for showcasing their traditional culture.

It is the first time for the fair to set up a VR equipment and technology exhibition. Visitors can try latest VR games here. Also, a booth brought a VR project here to allow visitors to experience an earthquake.
