Partial eclipse of moon to appear on Monday: report

The World Astronomical Center (ADEC) based in Abu Dhabi said Sunday that a partial eclipse of the moon would occur on Monday evening, state news agency WAM reported.

The eclipse will begin at 1550 GMT, and the moon will start entering the shadow region at 1723 GMT, the report said, quoting the International Astronomy Center.

The eclipse can be seen from all over the Arab region.

The partial eclipse will reach its peak at 1822 GMT. The full moon will emerge from the shadow area at 1918 GMT, and then the partial eclipse will end, said the report.
