Guangzhou Metro and Guangfo Metro postpone to close on Qingming Festival
According to Guangzhou Metro, all metro lines in Guangzhou will defer an hour to close one Qing Ming Festival, April 4.
Guangfo Metro will shorten the time interval of trains during Qingming Festival holiday (April 1 - 4). It also postpones one hour to close on Qingming Festival, April 4.
Temporary traffic control around cemeteries in Guangzhou
Temporary traffic control will be carried out around Guangzhou Yinhe Martyr Cemetery and China Permanent Cemetery from 7 am to 5 pm every day on April 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23. Please follow the instructions provided by traffic police and try to use public transportation during these days.
Eight special tourism bus lines opened for holiday
During Qingming Festival holiday (April 2-4), 8 special tourism bus lines will be opened, including from Guangzhou Coach Station to Zhuhai Chimelong, Fangcun Coach Station to Zhuhai Chimelong, Guangzhou South Railway Station to Guangzhou Chimelong, Guangzhou Chen Clan’s Academy to Shenzhen Window of the World, Guangzhou Chen Clan’s Academy to Sanshui Baobao Farm, Guangzhou Coach Station to Conghua Trendsee Cherry Blossom Aulacese Park, Guangzhou Coach Station to Panyu Dafu Mountain Forest Park, Guangzhou Coach Station to Foshan Xiqiao Mountain.
New bus route opened to link Songshan Lake and Guangzhou
New bus route from Dongguan Songshan Lake to Guangzhou Tianhe Coach Station has been opened since April 1. Ticket price is RMB 40 per person. The first bus departs from Songshan Lake and Tianhe Coach Station at 6:50 am and 8:00 am respectively, the last bus 6:30 pm and 7:40 pm respectively. During the day, there will be a bus every 70 to 90 minutes.
Train tickets for Labor Day holiday on sale now
Labor Day holiday will be April 29 to May 1. Since the pre-sale period for train tickets is 30 days, now you can buy tickets for Labor Day holiday. The start times for different stations are different. Guangzhou Railway Station: 11:00 am, Guangzhou East Railway Station: 11:30 am, Guangzhou South Railway Station: 1:00 pm, Guangzhou North Railway Station: 2:00 pm.
Exhibition of Diaolou artworks
Guangzhou stop of this exhibition is being held at 289 Art Park, Guangzhou from March 30 to April 20. About 100 artworks about Diaolou are presented by artist He Deneng.

The festival is being held at Shawan Town, Panyu District from March 28 to April 20. Activities include Shawan Piaose, Cantonese music performances, dragon and lion dances, etc.
Metro: Take Line 3 to Shiqiao Station. Get out from Exit B, walk to Baiyue Plaza West Entrance, and take Panyu bus No. 67 to Shawan Culture Center, and then walk northwest to the ancient town.
Painting exhibition
This is a group exhibition featuring seven artists of Guangzhou Painting and Calligraphy Institute Plum Society. The exhibition is being held at Pearl River Museum of Art from March 27 to April 20.

The exhibition shows original art works by famous ceramists as well as imitation art works by young artists. It is held at Guangdong Folk Arts Museum (Chen Clan’s Academy) and will last until June 12.
