Valentine’s Day is just round the corner. How are you planning to get through V-Day being single? Stay inside, lock your door, turn off all your lights, and wait until the day is over?

Or you can stop being single by going out to have fun with friends or to make new friends. How about viewing peach blossoms before V-Day?

Peach blossom is highly loved by Chinese people because it is regarded as a symbol of good luck for love and romance in traditional Chinese culture. Do you want good luck in adventures with the opposite sex? Come admire the beauty of peach blossoms at the Peach Blossom Brooklet, and who knows who you might meet?

The Peach Blossom Brooklet is located at Mingzhulou Tourist Area in the northwest of Baiyun Mountain. The Brooklet occupies an area of more than 55,000 square meters. It is mainly dotted with colorful peaches and primitively plain pavilions and corridors.

During the flowering phases, beautiful and romantic peach blossoms can be seen all around the Brooklet. It is definitely an attractive place for both old and young, couples or singles to enjoy.

If you go up Baiyun Mountain via the West Gate, you can enjoy flowery sceneries all along your way up the mountain: oriental cherry, rape flower, Pyrostegia venusta, azalea, peach blossom and plum blossom.

Flowering phase of peach blossom: From now on until the end of March

Venue: Peach Blossom Brooklet, Mingzhulou Tourist Area, Baiyun Mountain (白云山 明珠楼游览区 桃花涧)

Ticket: RMB 5 per ticket for Baiyun Mountain, and another RMB 5 per ticket for Peach Blossom Brooklet from Jan. 1 to Mar. 31 every year when the plum blossoms are receiving special care.

Nearby metro station: Xiaogang, Line 2, then transfer to Bus No. 660 and get off at the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, then walk to to the West Gate of Baiyun Mountain.

Buses to the West Gate: (Get off at Foreign Languages College/Baiyun Mountain West Gate) Bus No.36, 38, 66, 76A, 76, 127, 223, 245, 265, 529, 805, 864, 891, University Town Line 1, Peak Express Line 16, Tourism Bus No. 3, Bus No.9 (Night)
