In detail, Guangzhou enjoyed good air quality and fairly good air quality of 113 days, 197 days, respectively last year. While 45 days, 10 days and one day were slightly polluted, moderately polluted and heavily polluted.
In December of 2016, Guangzhou's air quality reached the standard in 22 days out of the month with an average PM2.5 level of 51 micrograms per cubic meter.
