Wearable medical devices produced by Zhuhai-based Guangdong Biolight Meditech Co Ltd attracted much attention at the world's largest innovation event -- CES 2017 (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas early this month.
Biolight is an industry leader in China's medical monitor market, and Biolight Technology Park was designated a National Patient Monitoring Industry Base by the National Development & Reform Commission in 2004. It reportedly plans a nationwide program for the blood purification industry.

At CES, Biolight unveiled its latest products in mobile health, including wearable smart thermometer, intelligent fetus monitoring robot, and blood pressure measuring device. Its digital products, featuring advanced sensor technology, artificial intelligence, and human-centered design, were a hit with US attendees.
American retail and business giants such as Wal-Mart, Amazon, and Johnson & Johnson approached Biolight to discuss cooperation on the very first day of the tech show, according to an employee from the Zhuhai company.
Since attending CES 2016, Biolight has seen an increase in overseas sales. Over 90 million yuan ($13 million) in foreign sales was achieved in the first three quarters of last year, accounting for 22 percent of the company's total sales revenue.
This was the third time for Biolight to attend CES.
