Guangdong police teaches you how to recognize telecom frauds via microfilms

On January 3, 2017, the award ceremony for microfilms around the theme of preventing telecommunication fraud, as an important section of the anti-crimes exhibition “Jufeng 2016”, was held on Tianhe Sports Stadium.

A total of 15 microfilms were awarded. The first prize went to Gifts from Father (《爸爸的礼物》), in which, a little girl is taught by the teacher knowledge of telecommunication fraud and found that her father, who loved her so much and always sent her gifts, was a fraud. And she cried out that the best gift for her was an honest father.

The police also shared with audiences information on how to avoid falling into pitfalls of telecommunication fraud. The police urged that citizens keep calm and learn to recognize frauds when receiving calls or messages that tell you “You’ve won a prize” or “I’m from the public security organs”. Once being deceived, please call the police immediately.
