On Sept. 7th, China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo 2018 is held at the Zone A of the China Import and Export Fair Complex, with vice-governor, Huang Ningsheng, presenting to deliver speech and witness agreements on tourism projects.

Huang said, “Guangdong, one of the most important tourism industry agglomerations, tourist-guest sources and tourist destinations in China and Asia, achieved 1000 billion gross income in tourism industry in 2017, ranking the first nationwide and generating added tourism value to take up 6.5% of the provincial GDP. New trends and forms of Guangdong tourism industry, which are to promote deepen cooperations between home and abroad tourism industries and the development and opening-up to oversea filed of GD’s tourism industry , will be shown from various exhibition halls, such as the Belt and Road International Tourism Hall, China Holistic Tourism Hall, Tourism Hypermarket Hall, the arts & crafts fair of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and etc.”

The CITIE 2018 covers a total area of 100,000 square meters, accommodates 10 themed exhibition halls and 5,000 standard booths. More than 30 specially designed supporting activities and series of themed promotional activities are set, attracting 30 thousand professional buyers from 60 countries and regions to participate. In the opening ceremony, 12 tourism projects are singed up on site.
