2017 Asian Culinary Exchange kicks off at Nanhai, Foshan

Culinary exchange is a good way to communicate food culture between different countries and areas. The 11th Asian Culinary Exchange was held at Xiqiao Town, Nanhai, Foshan on Nov. 10. Food and tourist elites from China, Malaysia, Japan and South Korea participated in the 2017 Asian Elite Culinary Competition. The Asian Cuisine Tasting Banquet and Asian Food Culture Festival were held at this weekend. Theme activities offer a delicious, good-looking and fun food feast.

There are 10 teams participating in the Asian Elite Culinary Competition. Senior culinary industry chefs and food experts in Asia were invited to be the judges. According to the dishes' "color", "incense", "taste" and " appearance", the judges will make a final decision.

The "Asian Food Culture Festival" is being held at the front plaza of Wong Tai Sin Temple in National Arts Studio from November 11 to November 12. The tourist souvenirs and catering enterprises from China, Malaysia, Japan and South Korea will demonstrate the region's special food for visitors. Chefs will also offer a tasting and visual feast on-site. You can fully experience the food culture from these Asian countries.
