According to Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission, residents aged over 18 (including the elderly who are over 60 years old) are allowed to receive the first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccination. You can make an appointment for inoculation through local communities or reserve online (The second shot is prioritized to be reserved).

How to reserve:

Search the WeChat mini-program named “广州健康通 (pinyin: guang zhou jian kang tong”, find the “新冠疫苗接种预约 (pinyin: xin guan yi miao jie zhong yu yue)”, and then choose the first or second dose under system guidance.

For the first dose of vaccination, different districts feature different time periods to make reservations, and the followings are the detailed schedule:

Time period District

8:00-12:00 Yuexiu and Baiyun districts

12:00-16:00 Liwan, Tianhe, Huangpu and Nansha districts

16:00-20:00 Haizhu, Panyu, Conghua, Huadu and Zengcheng districts

Notes: Registration for appointments are not available from 20:00 to 8:00 of the next day since the system will be under maintenance during this period.

After registration, the system will automatically arrange the vaccinations and inform the registrants by text message. Seniors aged over 60 can reserve through their local communities.
