Camping, rock climbing, canoeing, parkour, slackline... Outdoor sports enthusiasts not only got to see performances but also got some firsthand experience of outdoor sports events during the 2020 International Outdoor Documentary Film Festival of China (OUTDOCS) in Foshan between December 4th and 6th.

During the three-day festival, the OUTDOCS 2020 staged 25 professional forums and sharing sessions, 22 experience and training classes, and a great many performances at the Qiandeng Lake Park in Nanhai, Foshan.
Forums and sharing sessions gathered both professionals and amateurs to explore topics of park city, marine public welfare, climber spirit, parent-child education and other outdoor experiences.

On the evening of December 4th, the festival announced eight awards for outstanding outdoor documentary films at its opening ceremony, and seven films from 1,228 entries carried off the prizes.

● Best Mountaineering Documentary Award: Allein
● Best Nature and Biodiversity Documentary Award: Sockeye Salmon. Red fish
● Best Adventure Spirit Award: Zabardast
● Best Outdoor Culture and Lifestyle Documentary Award: Beloved
● Best Visual Effects Award: Spellbound
