I like, I like I like, I like Guangdong
The way Yousif sees it, many foreigners are attracted to the province because almost everything is available here.
For instance, mint is one of Yousif’s favorite food, and he says it is relatively hard to come by in his home country, Egypt. But in Guangzhou, mint is very easy to buy.

“Guangzhou in my mind, is a modern, vibrant and multicultural city in which to study, work and live,”said Yousif, “I like making friends with the locals.”
It seems to Yousif, the residents here are very kind and helpful, they will lend a hand if you’re in trouble. He went on to mention how optimistic and happy people seem. They love life with and are full of smiles.
The province makes it relatively easy for foreign experts to live there.
“Last time when I went to have a medical physical examination, I need to book one week in advance. But now I can just go on the day ” he said.
“I like, I like, I like, I like Guangdong,” and I can say in Chinese “我喜欢广东”, Yousif showed his love for the province again in the end of the interview.
He believes the province will maintain its current development, “next year you will find the province to be better than now,” said Yousif.
Established in 1952, the Institute of Animal Science, Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, focuses on the research and development of animal genetics and breeding, animal nutrition and feed science, etc.
It is currently home to 6 postdoctoral researchers, four of whom are from Egypt.
By introducing foreign postdoctoral fellows, it helps to bring cutting-edge scientific research technology, to solve scientific research problems, and promote international cooperation and exchange.
