Starting from tonight (Feb. 12), the 2018 Guangzhou Light Concert Show will kick off at Haixinsha Asian Olympic Games Park, staging a breathtaking world-class light concert show. At the South Square of Huacheng Square, there will be fortune trees, flower terraces in intricate designs, trees decorated with illuminations and peach blossom themed post office. Live concerts will be staged in the square with the magnificent night view of CBD Guangzhou as the backdrop.A 7-meter-high bud statue will be placed at Huacheng Square. Liede Bridge will be decorated with new lights.
In the meanwhile, Canton Tower will join hands with world famous landmarks, including the Empire State Building in New York, the Mine Tower of Genk in Limburg and more, to light up the night in celebration of the upcoming Spring Festival.
What’s more, Guangzhou will hold its first overseas flower fair in Paris. The well-known buildings of the two cities will pair up to hold light shows, celebrating the Chinese New Year.
Last but not least, Guangzhou-based technology company Ehang will put on a large scale light show with 300 drones at the north of Canton Tower and Haixinsha, forming some of the key words of the year in the sky.
