On June 19, Guangdong reported no new local infections of COVID-19.
While the province reported 12 imported confirmed cases, with 1 in Guangzhou from Mali; 7 in Shenzhen from South Africa; 2 in Foshan from Cambodia and Liberia; 2 in Jiangmen from Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.
The province also had 9 imported asymptomatic cases, including 1 in Guangzhou from the UK; 1 in Zhuhai from Saudi Arabia; 2 in Foshan from Kenya and Sierra Leone; 1 in Dongguan from the UAE; 2 in Jiangmen from Saudi Arabia; 2 in Zhaoqing from Saudi Arabia.
As of June 17, Guangdong had reported a total of 2,692 confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 1,129 imported.
Update on nucleic acid test results in Shenzhen, Dongguan

Shenzhen:
According to the authority of Bao’an District, as of 3 am, June 19, the district has completed the first-round of mass nucleic acid testing of residents in closed-off venues and closed & controlled management areas in Fuwei Community (福围社区). All the results were negative.
Dongguan:
According to Dongguan Municipal Health Bureau, the city completed the first-round of mass nucleic acid testing of 9,410 people in the 13 closed-off management venues on June 19, including 3,982 in Baiyue Shangcheng residential area (百悦尚城小区) where the previous 1 case lives. All the results were negative.
Guangzhou lowered 1 area to low risk, Foshan raised 1 area to medium risk for COVID-19
Foshan:
On June 19, Building 3, Street 3, Guoji Huayuan, Zhonghai Jincheng Community, Guicheng Street, Nanhai District, (南海区桂城街道中海锦城国际花园3街3栋) was adjusted from low risk to medium risk.
Guangzhou:
On June 20, No. 398 West Huifu Road, Xianhu Community, Beijing Street (越秀区北京街道仙湖社区惠福西路398号)was downgraded to low risk from medium risk.
