On May 31, Guangdong-based Sunrich Group and its Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich Hotel donated over 200 boxes of bottled water to frontline medical workers, volunteers and residents in Guangzhou.

Representatives of the hotel delivered the bottled water to the recipients at two nucleic acid testing sites in the Guangdong Provincial People's Stadium and the Beijing Road pedestrian street in Yuexiu District respectively, expressing their sincere gratitude and support toward the frontline workers.

"As a member of the Guangzhou's tourism industry, we are actively taking effective measures to help deal with the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure the health and safety of our guests," said Ms Amy Deng, Executive Assistant Manager of Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich, "In addition, we hope to do our part and work together with the city to win the battle against the pandemic."
