Guangzhou has launched some transportation adjustments for the areas including Liwan's Hailong Street (海龙街), Baihedong Street (白鹤洞街), Zhongnan Street (中南街), Dongjiao Street (东漖街) and Chongkou Street (冲口街), affecting seven related metro stations, said Shen Ying, deputy director of Guangzhou Municipal Transportation Bureau.

In detail, there are seven stations (Xilang Station, Kengkou Station of Metro Line 1 and Longxi Station, Jushu Station, Xilang Station, Hedong Station, Chachong Station of Guangfo Line) which travel through the above areas. During the epidemic prevention period, trains will stop at these stations and passengers are allowed to get off but not allowed to enter the entrances or take trains from them.
As for public buses, there are 83 bus lines (74 in Guangzhou, 9 in Foshan) involved in the above areas. Specifically, 11 bus lines are operated in the areas, 52 lines leave or arrive from the areas, and 19 lines pass through the areas.
During the epidemic prevention period, all bus lines which are operated in the areas are suspended, and passengers within the areas are not allowed to get on the buses leaving, arriving or passing by the areas.
And it is also required to suspend online car-hailing services in the epidemic prevention areas. Also, one long-distance terminal (Fangcun Passenger Terminal 芳村客运站) is suspended.
The transportation department requests citizens do not go to the above epidemic prevention areas unless necessary.
