An art exhibition featuring both jewellery and flowers is underway at the Fan House in Guangzhou from now till June 19. About one hundred pieces of rare jewellery and eight sets of floral installations are displayed at the exhibition.

Entitled "The FLOW Variations on Art Jewelry and Flowers", the exhibition is jointly curated and presented by Chinese, Italian and Dutch artists.

With "Beauty at every age" as the concept of the exhibition, two independent curators Jamie Chen and Ethan Huang aim to present the hardness and softness of females through the magnificent exhibits.

One highlight of the exhibition is the one and only three-piece "TRE PICCOLE GIOIE" co-created by Chinese jewellery artist MEI MEI and Italian jewellery maestro CARLO PALMIERO. The three-piece was inspired by a spring theme painting by Italian Giuseppe Castiglione, or Lang Shining (郎世宁), who served as an artist for three Qing dynasty emperors, namely Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong.

The floral works were presented by Pieter Teisman, senior florist and designer from the Netherlands.
