The Canton Fair Complex will become the world’s largest international exhibition complex once its Phase 4 construction is completed in 2022. By then, it will be only 25 minutes from the Baiyun Airport and 15 minutes from Guangzhou South Railway Station, according to Guangzhou Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau.

Located on the east side of Huanan Expressway, the Complex will be passed by 2 intercity rail lines and 4 metro lines, including the east extension of Guangzhou-Foshan Intercity Rail Line, Pazhou Branch Line of Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen Intercity Railway, Metro Line 8, 11, 12 and 18. Besides which, the Pazhou Passenger Terminal will also link the city downtown to Hong Kong and Macao in 2 hours.

Now the Complex has a floor area of 1.1 million square meters. Phase 4 will cover around 515,000 square meters, bringing a big increase in exhibition area. It is expected that by 2023, the Complex’s available exhibition area will exceed 9 million square meters.

In the future, Canton Fair will feature exhibition and commercial activities, supported by transportation, hotel, catering, shopping and tourism facilities.
