On February 19th, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced the suspension of Ethiopian Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Air France, Kenya Airways, and Juneyao Airlines flights, as passengers from these flights have tested positive for COVID-19.
Quota for the these flights shall not be used for other routes. Ethiopian Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Air France, and Kenya Airways can continue to operate these above-mentioned flights before Feb 22nd. If a flight triggers the circuit breaker mechanism during this period, future suspension times will accumulate.
The CAAC also requires the above-mentioned five airlines appease their passengers and handle refunds or appropriate changes.
