On January 30, Yo-Yo Ma, Artistic Director of the previous four YMCG and famous cellist, will hold an online performance, entitled "Inside the Practice Room with Yo-Yo". To explain his own artistic philosophy, his performance will be divided into the following four parts:

Asking Questions: Activating Imagination

Dividing into Music

Bringing it Forward

Meanwhile, those pieces Yo-Yo plays will cover French pianist Charles Camille Saint-Sans's The Swan, the second chapter of Beethoven's The Six "Field" Symphony called A Small View of the Stream, as well as a Chinese piece called Yan Tou Yu (meaning rain on the eaves) by cooperating with Wu Tong, a Sheng player online (Sheng is a Chinese mouth-blown free reed instrument). Those three songs are totally diverse in style.
