From January 28th to February 7th, it is anticipated that the average passenger flow per day will reach 8.1 million person times. During the holiday, the figure will drop to 4.48 million person times. However, it will soar to 8.39 million person times from February 18th to March 8th.

To ease the heavy traffic pressure, GZ Metro will extend its operation time sin three different phases and prepare 1 - 3 spare trains to meet the demand of going out at night.

On February 9th and 10th, Metro line 1, 3 (Tianhe Coach Terminal Station, Tiyu Xilu - Airport North) and APM line will remain open to traffic half an hour later than usual, whereas the operation time of Metro line 3 (Panyu Square, Airport North to Tiyu Xilu) will be extended for 15 minutes.

On February 11th, 16th, and 17th, all metro lines will operate one hour later than their normal closing hours.

Given the huge passenger flow before and after the Chinese Spring Festival, the pandemic prevention and control measures also need to be strengthened.
