On December 29th, a mask donation ceremony was held in the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Guangzhou. In order to support Iran in fighting the COVID-19 epidemic, Sichuan Zhuoyue International Trade Co., Ltd. donated 1 million KN95 protective masks and 100 thousandface shields to the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The consignment has been delivered to the warehouse of Nansha New Port designated by the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Guangzhou.

“The donation conveys a message that in this difficult time, we should unify and we should help each other more frequently.” said Hosseinali Darvishi Motevalli, the consul general of Iran in Guangzhou. “After the outbreak of the virus in Iran, we witnessed the sympathy of the Chinese government and people with the Iranian government and people.”

Mr.Darvishi also expressed confidence that by the unity of all nations and multilateral cooperation, the COVID-19 epidemic can be overcome eventually.

Wu Junjie, executive director of Sichuan Zhuoyue International Trade Co., Ltd., said that :”The gift itself may be small, but the goodwill is profound. We are a family in front of disaster.”

Expressing concerns towards Iran, Wu said that they will continue to provide active help and give the greatest support within their ability.
