Cantonese cuisine chef Chen Dajiang runs a restaurant in Houyao Village, Nan'ao County, Shantou. Last year, Guangdong's first "Cantonese cuisine chef center for rural talent" was set up in Chen's restaurant.

Fried rice with sea urchins is a new dish developed by Chen. To create new dishes with local ingredients is Chen's aim of opening this restaurant in his hometown. Many visitors are attracted here because of the dish, which also contributes to the prosperity of the remote village.
