On December 2, the 2020 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Innovation and Cooperation and Exchange Conference was held in Nansha. The event set up three sub-venues, and a number of experts from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao attended and have exchanged their opinions.

It is worth mentioning that the first service platform for Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao science and technology innovation groups was also initiated at this conference. The platform was jointly launched by Nansha District Market Supervision Administration, China National Institute of Standardization and Guangzhou Institute of Standardization. It is reported that the platform will solve the situation of lacking practical guidance in the Greater Bay Area, which is a new breakthrough towards promoting the crosschecking of rules and systems from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau.

Nansha also released a series of cooperation projects such as the first batch of global commodity traceability standards in the conference. In addition, the Nansha Free Trade Zone Court will also learn from the judicial concepts of the Common Law System and realize the requirements of China's case guidance system. This will help Nansha become an international legal service center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Nansha and will jointly build a high-quality living circle of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in all aspects.

The two places can jointly establish a logistics system in line with international standards, which could benefit the Greater Bay Area as it becomes more important on the world stage.

Experts from the three places conducted more in-depth discussions on the three theme forums of "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao team standard crosscheck", "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao cross-border logistics facilitation", and "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao cross-border investment and financing" in these three conference venues.
