Apart from the high-rises and ancient alleyways in the city center, Guangzhou is also billed as a fairyland of natural beauty.
If you want to have a weekend getaway, here are some must-visit attractions in the suburbs.
Dalingtou Mountain in Conghua
Mount Huangshan or Yellow Mountain in east China's Anhui Province is known for its spectacular granite peaks, odd-shaped pines, hot springs and sea of clouds. Now, you don’t have to visit another province to enjoy the magnificent sea of clouds, as you can view such scenery right here in Guangzhou’s Conghua.
