Learn how to make a Daliang fish-lantern from master Pan Zhijiang, inheritor of Daliang fish-lantern making technique.

Foshan festive lion head making

Li Wanzhen, provincial inheritor of Foshan festive lion head making technique, will explain the history and features of Foshan festive lion head, she will also share her stories of exploring this technique, and teach you how to make a lifelike festive lion head.

Lantern exhibition

Have you seen cotton-like lanterns, bulbs that can bloom like a flower, fish lanterns with a swinging tail and lion head lanterns whose ears can move? Come to the lantern exhibition at the Guangdong Cultural Center and you will get to see all of these unique lanterns and more.

"Chubby Women" sculpture exhibition

An exhibition featuring 23 sculptures by Xu Hongfei, a national first-class artist in the Chinese mainland, is underway in Yangji Village, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou.

As the dean of the Guangzhou Sculpture Academy, Xu developed a style of his own with his "chubby women" series of sculptures. His artworks are famous for his bold and exaggerated style.

The exhibition is open to the public for free around the clock and will last until February 27th, 2021.

Mid-Autumn Festival lantern show

A total of 23 large lanterns and about 1,000 holiday lamps are on display at Guangzhou Culture Park, highlighting landscapes and animals in China.
