Liwan Association of the Nonparty Intellectuals and Liwan Association of New Social Stratum sent 2300 packages of personal protective equipment and 500 boxes of soft beverage to all medical workers on September 24th to express thanks to their hard work during the pandemic.

The two associations have been actively supporting the fight against COVID-19 and donated 60 thousand yuan, 10 thousand bottles of rubbing alcohol, 20 boxes of sanitizer and 10 thousand medical masks at the height of the pandemic.

The United Front Work Department of Liwan District, Guangzhou has been encouraging its members to lend helping hands to the people in need. As of September 23rd, it has offered people across the country both financial support and medical supplies which add up to 240 billion yuan.
