Guangzhou Ersha sports park recently unveiled its new look. New smart gym equipment with QR codes and power-generating functions are the highlights of the renovation.

You can scan the QR code to find out the fitness grades of other sports fans who are also using the same equipment from the same manufacturers elsewhere, and virtually compete with them.

The smart equipment also allows you to generate electricity for the park while doing exercises. Some of the smart equipment is attached to solar cells installed on the rain cover overhead, while others have the function of electric power generation.

After more than one-year renovation, the park now has three types of fitness equipment. Apart from the traditional gym equipment, there is smart gym equipment such as fitness bikes, dorsal muscle exercisers, leg muscle exercisers, and chest muscle exercisers. And parents can also take their children with them, because there are children's facilities as well.

Dotted with green trees and beautiful flowers, the park has paved a new blue-white plastic floor and built a colorful stage flanked by the new smart gym equipment in the east and west. People visiting the park will have a great time provided by a combination of sports and technology.

The park will not fully open to the public until China's National Day holiday since the new equipment still needs some time for adjustment. Pandemic prevention and control measures will also be in place before the park's official opening.
