Foreign airline Kigali-Guangzhou flight line suspended for one week

China's civil aviation regulator on Tuesday issued a suspension order on RwandAir flight WB9500 from Kigali to Guangzhou for one week after five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on August 30th.

China's civil aviation regulator on Tuesday issued a suspension order on RwandAir flight WB9500 from Kigali to Guangzhou for one week after five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on August 30th. Hence, the flight WB9500 on September 20th will be suspended.

Passengers who have already purchased tickets for the above flight, please contact RwandAir to change flight schedule. And the flight on September 27th will not be affected by this suspension order.

The Chinese Embassy in Rwanda also reminds passengers to conduct a nucleic acid test based on the new flight date after successfully changing their tickets.

Careful personal protection should be taken before boarding. If COVID-19 related symptoms are found, passengers should not attempt to conceal the condition or provide false health information, and they should seek for immediate medical attention.
